I am adding some of my favorite resources to gain more knowledge about online marketing and also some great books and resources for staying motivated. I can’t stress this enough, you have to stay motivated by continuing to build your vision and belief to be successful. Once the money starts coming in it’s a little easier but getting to that point may take some time. But as most motivational speakers will attest, the only way to fail is to quit’
This is a great website if you are interested in the dropshipping business, interested in getting started selling on Amazon or eBay. He has an amazing amount of information. This actually inspired my Information Overload blog because I spent about 2 hours on his site. But it is a lot of great information if this is a route you are considering. Just do it in bitesize morsels. His website is www.skipmcgrath.com and here is a link to an ebook on things that sell on eBay – http://www.skipmcgrath.com/newsletters/confirm/NicheMarkets2013.pdf.
www.youtube.com – this an amazing resource that is totally free. There are full books on you tube that you can listen to while driving, in the background as you are multitasking, or simply to sit and listen to and take notes as you need to have your motivation recharged.
You might want to listen to “Think And Grow Rich”, the entire audio of the book is recorded.
There are some great motivational videos from Jim Rohn to Tony Robbins.
There is also a ton of info in topics relevant to online marketing such as blogging and dropshipping.
I also want to recommend some books that you can get on Amazon, or check out from your local library.
The first is:
In his 2009 international bestseller, Crush It!, Gary Vaynerchuk insisted that a vibrant personal brand was crucial to entrepreneurial success. In Crushing It!, Gary explains why that’s even more true today, offering his unique perspective on what has changed and what remains timeless. He also shares stories from other entrepreneurs who have grown wealthier—and not just financially—than they ever imagined possible by following Crush It! principles. The secret to their success (and Gary’s) has everything to do with their understanding of social media platforms and their willingness to do whatever it takes to make these tools work to their utmost potential. That’s what Crushing It! teaches readers to do.
Do you have a hobby you wish you could indulge in all day? An obsession that keeps you up at night? Now is the perfect time to take that passion and make a living doing what you love. In Crush It! Why NOW Is the Time to Cash In on Your Passion, Gary Vaynerchuk shows you how to use the power of the Internet to turn your real interests into real businesses. Gary spent years building his family business from a local wine shop into a national industry leader. Then one day he turned on a video camera, and by using the secrets revealed here, transformed his entire life and earning potential by building his personal brand. By the end of this book, readers will have learned how to harness the power of the Internet to make their entrepreneurial dreams come true. Step by step, Crush It! is the ultimate driver’s manual for modern business.
This book received 4.5 out of 5 stars on Amazon with 1098 reviews.
Also wanted to add just a few books on Social Media Marketing, as I have been entering more of the eCommerce world and realizing how expensive it gets to ads, I am learning more about getting free traffic. Thought I’d add some of the resources I’ve checked out.
